The One.

Posted by admin on September 2nd, 2008

In June, 2002, the presigious journal of the AMA said that “every American should use a multi-nutrient supplement to address the health dilemma of our nutritionally poor diets”.

At the Earth Summit Statistics meeting, 1992, experts revealed conclusively that farmlands were 85%  micro-nutrient depleted.

So, what’s a body to DO?  We are told to eat our veggies and we are encouraged to eat a balanced diet…how is that accomplished if the food we eat was grown in depleted soil?

Here is one solution:  The One.  The Only.  The Original Limu.

Here’s the thing:  Limu’s ‘secret weapon’ is NOT from the soil!  It is from the ocean in the area of Tonga.  Those sea vegetables in Limu are rich in nutrients!  There are 70 different vitamins and minerals, PLUS Fucoidan, which is not found in any land based plant!

Over 690 studies have been done about the health benefits of Fucoidan all over the world.

I’m not much for stats and studies.  I’m much more interested in how it TASTES and I can tell you this stuff may have a funny name but it does not taste funny!  It is yummy!

We drink 2 oz of Limu morning and night, knowing full well that NO claims whatsoever are made for any results.  Since we started last winter we have not suffered any joint discomfort, our quality of sleep has improved, and we feel better.  Other folks have taken it with different results and are equally satisfied.

We have used other joint products but none gave us the results we enjoy with Limu.

We didn’t pay much mind to joints when we were in our 20′s and 30′s but it gets to be an issue as people age.

The one, the only, the original Limu is a terrific solution to the problem of getting the nutrition we need for feeling our best.  Prescription drugs will not give us the gifts Nature provides.  Check it out:

I think you’ll wish you’d done it sooner!

The Healing Codes

Posted by admin on August 28th, 2008

The “big book” tells us that we are marvelously and wonderfully made.

If you are a parent, or a grandparent, you only need to contemplate the fingers and toes and face of a newborn baby to understand the truth of this statement.

The good and loving folks at The Healing Codes have taught me about how the HEART is central to our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well being.

A close friend of mine learned about this from a different perspective recently, when her beloved father passed away.

As her daddy faded,  she learned first-hand about the process the body passes through as it leaves this world of existence.  The organs, toes, fingers, hands, feet, arms and legs receive less and less nourishment from the blood as the heart yields in its efforts to distribute the red life giving fluid.  When the heart can no longer nourish the other organs and the extremities, it simply stops beating.

Contrast that to the conception of a child.  The heart is the first organ to form in the tiny being and that heart grows, nourishes the entire body as it matures, keeps the truths of the life within it and contnues until the end of life on this earth.

Amazing, when you think about it, isn’t it?

The Healing Codes people understand and teach about how living in truth and love keeps the heart pumping with gusto.  Their ideas line up with the ancient Hebrew messages contained in the “big book”, the same concepts that medical science is now “discovering”.  Our HEART is our image maker.  It takes the truth in our lives and lovingly makes pictures for our BRAIN to read!

Maybe your health is not what you’d hoped for.  Your HEART knows what has created that.  There is a CODE to assist you in gaining the health you yearn to enjoy.

It could be that your relationships are less satisfying than you had expected.  Your HEART understands the truth that manifested your circumstances.  There is a CODE to improve your situation, too.

Whatever your issue, there is  truth and love behind it and there is a CODE to help alleviate the stress it has caused.

If you have not done so already, I encourage you to visit the website Mother Connie Sez for even more information about The Healing Codes.

Crack your own code immediately.

It’s more affordable than the deductible for a hospital visit.  And way more FUN!

Inflammatory Remarks?

Posted by admin on August 25th, 2008

I found an email in my Inbox that really got me going.

It was from a friend who wanted me to see a “news” report that appeared on a local newscast in the great Northwest.  It was graphic and warned about the ravages of breast cancer.  There were bald victims and wideowers to emphasize the point of the piece: ” BE AFRAID.  BE VERY AFRAID OF DISEASE.”

I could feel the anger rise inside my body as I fired off a response to my friend.

Her response was that I should tell the world how I really feel.  So, on her advice, and keeping it real, I will tell you all what’s really going on.

There is no reason to be afraid of disease.  Disease is the result of thoughts and feelings that take place first in the etheric energy field around our physical bodies.  Eventually it manifests in our bodies.  To feed a sick body toxic drugs does not correct the problem; it only compounds the situation.  After all, we do not have deficiencies in chemotherapies; we have no lack of ibuprofen in our systems; nor do we lack any amount of antibiotics.

Because of the media driven approach, more folks will become aware of the vaccines, the treatments, the  other draconian measures traditional medicine dreams up in the name of profitability!  Those patients may succumb to the unrelenting campaign of fear that herd unsuspecting people into participation in the very thing that causes their demise.

A much better approach, in my opinion-you may not agree with me-would be to strengthen and support the immune system with good water, good rest, good food, a good exercise program, good thoughts and a good attitude.  Secondly, it behooves us all to keep our bodies as alkaline as is possible.  This would not include the drinking of soda pop, ingestion of microwaved foods, and drinking beer to replace any other liquid!

Keeping your body alkaline involves eating organic foods, raw foods, taking supplements that are rich in minerals, phytonutrients, cell protection.  Okay, you might consider that this is a shameless commercial for my highly favored BioPro twin packs, the iWater by BioPro  www.BioPro.com/agman as well as the meal plans by Saving Dinner. http://www.savingdinner.com/1287.html

You would be right!

In addition to all that, I highly recommend that you see about getting the Far Infra Red Sauna installed in your home ASAP.  This is the feature on www.motherconnie.com

BUT, you need to understand the critical nature of these remedies.  Take, for instance, The HealingCodes.  Remember the earlier mention of the etheric energy field around the physical body? The Healing Codes address this directly.  Energy medicine is the way of the future.  It is the ONLY effective way of directing the healing of the human body because it works WITH the body, not against it!  There is nothing toxic about The Healing Codes.  There is not going to be a negative side effect by using The Healilng Codes or the Far Infra Red Sauna!

You may rail against these ideas.  That’s your prerogative; it IS America, after all…

But I am living proof that the toxicity and terrible side effects of drugs are not conducive to WELL being.

Now you know my stand on the matter.   If you will excuse me, I must Save Dinner…

If you are not inspired to comment on this controversial stand, what can I say to convince you?  Please post your comments for moderation, keeping in mind that you may remain anonymous and your information will never be shared with anyone for any reason.

Fifty Years in the Making

Posted by admin on August 18th, 2008

Golden wedding anniversaries don’t JUST HAPPEN, you know.  First of all, there needs to be a wedding ceremony, followed by half a century of working, moving, children, activities, more children, more activities…you know, much of a lifetime of LIVING.

As the magic date approaches there are plans to be laid.

Take for example, my favorite husband’s college buddies, Bob and Bette Frels. They were wed  with my Norman as a groomsman.  Their first home  was a sod house.  After adding some children to the mix and a few more moves, they are well settled on a beautiful farm near a tiny western Nebraska town.

This pastoral setting was the scene for the party of the half century and Norm and I were priveleged to attend the festivities.

You have all been to anniversary celebrations, no doubt.  They serve cake and punch, and there are many photos to ooh and aah over.  And a basket for greeting cards.

Sidebar: These celebrants  all INSIST they need no gifts but I betcha after that much time they could all use new linens and maybe a pantry shower.  End Sidebar.

Well, to mark the beginning of the Frels’ doin’s, they invited everyone to the raising of the two newly refurbished, working windmills at their farm home.  It was a grand occasion!  Bob and Bette have collected windmills as they have worked the land. They even have the wheel of a ‘mill half buried as a garden ornament in their impressive flower bed!

The actual anniversary date began with a worship service in their little church.  The pews were filled with friends, relatives, and the college buddies and their brides.  It was a gala occasion and everyone agreed it was utterly delightful.

A sumptuous home made meal was served in the nearby Senior Center, followed by a reception at the church’s fellowship hall.

The place was magnificently appointed.  Bette’s picture quilt, the various quilt projects that identify their married life and the wedding photos from 1958 were displayed creatively on the walls.  Each guest table was graced with a collection of Bob and Bette’s cobalt blue bottles and one or two photo albums that had carefully and lovingly preserved  the memories of a growing family and visually recorded the many activities and trips of the family.

It had been announced in church there would be cookies.  We all thought that meant the standard, sugar and peanut butter fare.  Oh, my,  no.  There were delicate SWEDISH cookies!  And that’s not all–our eyes were treated to a large display of Swedish recipes, photos, utensils and memoribilia from the old country.

People lingered, passing the many photo albums from table to table and laughing, talking, mingling, reminiscing.

We smiled a lot on our way home and discussed being married for 50 years.  We have a ways to go.  I’m thinking, though, that being healthy is part of that.  And being healthy  in itself is a wealth.

So, as we spend at least our next half century together, I’ll continue to work at the computer, teaching folks about health and wealth and being grateful for every moment we have.  Norm will stay close to the land to nourish his very soul.  And, naturally, we will continue our regimen of good water, good food, good supplements, good rest and good thoughts.

If you are curious about how to improve your health you are cordially invited to log onto www.motherconnie.com  and look over the offerings there to enhance your well being.  And as always, your comments are solicted.  Maybe you have an anniversary memory ou would like to share.  Or maybe you would like to share your ideas about how you enhance your health.  All comments are moderated and you may remain anonymous if you prefer.

Now, whenever you see a windmill, you will be reminded of the happy couple who lovingly shared all their goodness with so many people after half a century of marriage.

PS/If you would like to receive occasional health tips and ideas you are welcome to join our mailing list on http://thehealthyandwealthyyou.com  It is free and your information will never be shared with anyone for any reason.  We also do not load you up with too many emails!

Are You Sick and Tired?

Posted by admin on August 14th, 2008

Leon Eldred said this:  “If I’d known I was going to live so long, I’d have taken better care of myself.”

“Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon.”  That’s a quote from Doug Larson.

People are amazing.  We eat junky foods, fail to drink good water, and fail to move about. Then we wonder why we get sick.  We smoke and wonder why we don’t/can’t/won’t stop.  We stay up for late night movies and feel tired the next day.  We fuel up on sweets and caffeine instead of eating correctly and nourishing our bodies and our minds.  Then we complain about how crummy we feel.

I guess we all just suffer from the human condition.

It doesn’t HAVE to be that way.  We do what we do because we BELIEVE we must.  Our PERCEPTION is such that we think things can’t change for us.  In truth, if we change those perceptions, things would change and our lives would be much better in the process!

Change does not come easily for some.  We are comfortable with our routines and we are loathe to behave differently.  If you aren’t sure about this, I challenge you to brush your teeth with your OTHER hand or put on your OTHER shoe first…see what I mean?  We like our comfort zones.

Well, as the famed Dr. Phil asks, “How’s that workin’ for ya?”

If you are sick and tired and have done the same old things with the same old results you might be sick and tired of being sick and tired.  If that is the case, I would invite you to visit www.motherconnie.com  and get familiar with the ideas and options offered there for your consideration.

Go there.  Look around.  See what you might change in your own life, your own routine, your own comfort zone.

When you have made an opinion about what you are doing and what you are willing to change, come back to this page and make a comment.  Let’s get real, folks.  And let’s be well.

As always, the comments must be moderated before they are published to the web and you are free to be anonymous if that’s your pleasure.

Is SNORING an Issue?

Posted by admin on August 13th, 2008

We used to compare my father’s loud snoring to an oncoming steam engine.  It was a great source of comedy and laughter in our family for many years.

Were he to visit one of the burgeoning sleep study centers that have become so visible of late he would likely have been officially diagnosed with sleep apnea.  The powers that be would have offered him a contraption to strap onto his face with a noisy gizmo at his bedside to help him with this problem…

That very scenario has taken place for someone I admire and it makes me very, very sad.

You see, none of that is necessary.  By simply taking tryptophan at bedtime the entire problem could be solved inexpensively and quickly.  Our bodies make less tryptophan as we age, ostensibly because our bodies are busy making wrinkles and sags in our skin!  In any event this little amino acid will not only insure better quality of sleep, it will improve the symptoms associated with daytime depression, PMS, fibromyalgia, and anxiety.  It will help with alcohol recovery and food cravings, too.

You can buy the stuff they tout on TV.  You can put a clothespin on the back of your pajamas.  You can offer ear plugs to your partner.  But wouldn’t it be simpler to pop into the health food store and pick up a bottle of tryptophan?

I double dog dare you to try it!

I also dare you to check out other ideas for ideas about ideas and options to enchance your health on www.motherconnie.com

Then I challenge you to post your comments about this.  I’m sure everyone has suffered at least one sleepless night because of loud snoring.  As always, the comments must be moderated before they are posted.  We are grateful that you participate in this way!

Getting Away

Posted by admin on August 8th, 2008

Sometimes, in August, it’s important to load up and head out!

We consider the jaunt we are planning as a honeymoon, even though we are nearly 14 years into this marriage.

We will celebrate with a couple whose marriage Norm  witnessed 50 years ago!  All his college buddies and their brides will be there, along with everyone’s good wishes. There is sure to be much reminiscing,  laughing, story telling, joshing, and eating.

We don’t just jump into the car and drive away.  Oh, no.  It takes some DOING:  we pack some clothes.  Well, to be accurate, I pack the clothes and Norm loads the car.  Then I come along with the water, the food supplements and the pillows.

We are such pampered travelers.  We feel we must have our own special pillows.  We don’t care for fluoridated water, so we take iWater in our iWater bottles.  We would never think of skipping our supplements so they are tucked in, as is the bottle of Limu, which we feel is as important as oxygen.

I suspect another generation might find this preparationto be the way “old people” do things…but that’s fine by me.  I remember with a grin on my face how my own grandmother would come to visit.  She and my maiden aunt toted around a good sized cardboard box, loaded to the brim with pills, potions, pillows, padding and all manner of “stuff they could not live without.”

Perhaps that’s how our grandkids view us.

I’m not referred to as ’The Funny Grandma’ for no good reason!

Here’s the thing:  I think NOBODY should live their lives without the benefits of whole foods, energized water, stuff that helps their cells communicate vibrant good health!  That is the reason why I direct everyone to

www.motherconnie.com  and the links to www.biopro.com/agman and www.discoverlimu.com

But you already know that if you have followed this blog for any length of time…

I would be very interested to know what YOU need when YOU travel.  Have you heard the piece by George Carlin about ‘Stuff’?  He amused the whole world when he made fun of us for putting our stuff into boxes and bags and traveling.  It’s human nature to drag our belongings around…I think it’s human nature for us to yearn for great health, energy and vigor!

Please tell me YOUR story.  All stories will be published as soon as they are moderated.  We thank you so much for participating.

The Good Old Summertime

Posted by admin on August 2nd, 2008

Summer is my personal fave.

Ideally, there is an unlimited supply of lemonade. We fancy that we lie in hammocks, smelling freshly cut grass, hearing the joyous shouts of children running through sprinklers, and we think of how we walk along the city sidewalks, chatting with neighbors as we stroll along.

In reality?

We crank the A/C to its max. We complain bitterly about the heat and humidity. We fuss that our clothelines harbor garments that take too long to dry. We complain when it rains. We complain when it does not rain.

Surely there is a happy medium.

The summertime in our house has been loaded with the best of times and the worst of times.

Currently we have a houseguest who revels in the joy of spending time in a Certified Wellness Home.

We are reveling in the joy of having him with us!

The bed, the air, the water, the food, and even his garments

support the quality of health we all enjoy.

Not to mention his gregarious, hospitable host couple…

wink/grin

It’s true. Norm and I are a pair of health nuts.

People snicker when they see that we carry our own iWater bottles around with us. They roll their eyes when the subject of supplements come up.

When I offer to ‘do someone’s colors’ there is a great show of skepticism.

But we must be doing something right.

My favorite husband began to feel poorly awhile back. His brother had popped up with a diagnosis that was no fun, so Norm finally agreed to visit his local

doctor.

There were no if’s, and’s or but’s about it.

Norm needed a pacemaker AT ONCE.

That would be the worst of times in our current summer!

When Norm’s pulse dipped to 10 beats per minute the pacemaker was placed.

This was on a Thursday. On SATURDAY morning, he was released from the bondage of his hospital bed and he drove home!

To make a long story short, he is quite fine now.

The postscript to that event is the phone call we got this week. They learned from his blood work that he has had Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, which is contracted from ticks.

Norm just chuckled.

When you have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, you are one sick puppy.  You hurt, your head aches, you feel hot, then chilled, it’s miserable.

Norm had none of that. AND, the morning of his appointment with his doctor he ‘only’ walked 17 blocks, plus the 3 blocks to the doctor’s office.  When he reported this at the time of his doctor visit, Doc just shook his head and swore.

He was astonished at the recovery and progress of his patient.

Having Norm feeling so well is the best of times for us!

What made that possible? Well, to be sure, there had been prayers on Norm’s behalf. And we would not discount the skill of the surgeons and pros who managed Norm’s case.

But what about the Limu? What about the BioProduce? What about the magnetic insoles and mattress pad? What about the iWater? What about the alkaline air he breathes?

How does his vegetable rich, whole foods diet figure into this equation?

Could it BE that his regimen has supported his immune system to the point where a pesky tick had little influence on his body?

Could it be that being well hydrated, fit as a fiddle, and well nourished has really paid off in spades?

What do YOU think?

We would love for you to comment on Norm’s situation.   All comments must be moderated before they are published. We appreciate your taking the time to do this.

You, too, can begin to live in a Wellness Home.
