The Healthy and Wealthy You

If we aspire to health and wealth, we need to know the facts and get the help we'll all need!

I know a woman, Mary, whose husband passed away after a very long battle with heart disease.

The couple had revised their lifestyles, their diets and their habits in every way they could.  She cared for him to the last, making sure he had the correct food in his diet, counting out his medications, fluffing his pillow, and visiting the doctor with him.

After he had been gone a good while, this woman became interested in alternative healing and took some classes.  What she learned could have helped her husband if only they had known then what she knew now.

One of the most astonishing things she discovered was that the medication that she doled out for her husband all those decades had gone into HER system and traces of it showed up years and years after her husband had passed away!

Today I saw an article written by Dr. William Campbell Douglas II that indicated we actually marinate in a toxic soup of other peoples’ medicines, fluoride, nasty matter of every sort each time we bathe or shower!

EEEEW!

Well, some people might marinate themselves but we are blessed to have a system that cleans the water we use.  That’s another whole blog post.  Maybe even another website.

Alternative healing sometimes flies in the face of what traditional medicine dictates.  The reason for this is that alternative caregivers are more interested in prevention and wellness, balance and cooperation than some of the traditional medical professionals.  At any rate, this is your humble blogger’s personal experience.

True wealth is greatly dependent on the state of our health and well being.  If we are not well, we cannot sustain or create wealth.  And as we all know, you can’t be too well or too rich!

Being healthy and being wealthy requires some tall doing.  I know this for a fact because I am traveling on both paths.  One of the ways these paths intersect has been Energy Medicine.

• I screen my telephone calls. I can take care of a business call but non-business callers can choose to call at another time or I’ll be happy to return their calls after my “business hours.”
• Television is a no-no during working time.
• Emailing can be a time thief. For me, time spent with email is a reward for work accomplished at various intervals through the work day.
• Social Networking-Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and such sites are for social time, not working hours.
• After breakfast, I make sure I have things organized so I know what we’ll have for lunch and dinner and I won’t have to take valuable work time to figure out and prepare meals, or make emergency grocery runs.
• I have an accountability partner to whom I submit my day’s intentions and my progress.
